3M The Challenge: The 3M Vikuiti™ optical film is used to enhance the picture quality of LCD displays from televisions, computer monitors, PDA's and beyond. 3M wanted video modules that would be visually stunning to capture the attention of tradeshow attendees and people visiting various 3M facilities around the world. The Solution: Two different modules were created in 1080i HD video with sweetened sound tracks. The video modules played on large LCD screens capable of displaying full 1080i resolution at tradeshows and in the lobbies of several 3M facilities across the world. Video played on equipment that only required the operator to connect cables to the monitor and turn on the power switch to insure no technical complications on-site.
