Andersen Windows - The Andersen Experience - 2005 The Challenge: Andersen hosts visiting groups of contractors, dealers and distributors on a weekly basis. These groups are shown this program to communicate Andersen’s commitment to them and the industry and to invite feedback on all things related to the business. The Solution: The Andersen Experience 2005 is a remake of The Andersen Experience program that Ilexfilmworks originally produced in 2001. The client asked that we retain the treatment and much of the historical content, but replace all interviews, product imagery, location construction footage and manufacturing scenes. A new script was written to reflect a change in management direction and product offering. The existing program was reverse-storyboarded, with a still frame of every scene change captured and tied to its corresponding Voice Over copy. The scenes and copy were stored in a database, marked by type (historical, manufacturing, product, etc) then sifted and sorted as needed. Detailed color storyboards of the existing program were produced from the database and used to communicate with the client about scene replacement, reordering, reshooting, etc. Script changes were also noted, giving a clear comparison of old vs. new.
