St. Jude Medical
EnSite Advanced Training by Graydon Beatty
Graydon
Beatty, the inventor of the EnSite System and founder of Endocardial
Solutions that was purchased by St. Jude Medical taught a one and
one half day advanced training program for Field Clinical
Engineers. Only a small number of the FCE’s who would benefit from
the advanced training were able to attend the live training. During
the training Mr. Beatty switched between high-end PowerPoint at
1024x768 and the EnSite System at 1280x1024 and a standard paper
whiteboard. Utilizing a proprietary Alloro capture system, the
entire 1.5 days of training was captured with full motion screen
capture of the PowerPoint and EnSite System and combined with a
Picture-In-Picture video of Mr. Beatty. 24 hours after the event
all 11.5 hours of video was available for viewing on the internet.
All St. Jude Medical personnel who could benefit from the training
were then able to see the training.
Video
was captured and encoded real-time into a single Windows Media Video
files at three size and quality settings: 800x600 – 293kbs, 800x600
– 110kbs, and 640x480 – 43kbs. This allows for users to view the
video at modem to broadband speeds depending on the users specific
connection. Alloro provides hosting on a Windows Media Server
allowing users to fast-forward within files that have not fully
downloaded to their computers.
Alloro provided all production, capture and
hosting services.
